Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data KalkiShield ("we", "us"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], collects through kalkishield.com, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It was last updated on the date shown at the foot of this page.

What we collect

Through this website, only what you type into a form:

  • Your name, work email address and, optionally, your company name.
  • The content of any message you send us.
  • Which form you submitted, and when.

Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address and user agent, for security and abuse prevention. We do not run analytics, advertising or social media trackers on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Why we collect it

To reply to your enquiry, to scope and quote the work you are asking about, and to deliver an engagement if you go ahead. That is the whole purpose. We do not use enquiry data for marketing, we do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

Consent

We collect this data on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the box on the form. The exact wording shown to you at that moment, and the time you agreed, are recorded alongside your enquiry. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, and withdrawal is as easy as giving it was.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are deleted 24 months after they are created, automatically. If you ask us to delete yours sooner, we will do so promptly unless we are required to retain it — for example, where it forms part of the record of a paid engagement.

Who else can see it

Nobody who does not need to. We use a small number of service providers to run this site, and they process data only on our instructions:

  • Vercel Inc. — website hosting and file storage.
  • Neon Inc. — the database in which enquiries are stored.

We do not share your data with anyone else unless we are legally compelled to, and we will tell you if that happens unless the law prevents us from doing so.

How we protect it

  • All traffic to this site is encrypted in transit.
  • Enquiry records are readable only by authenticated administrators; there is no public API path to them.
  • Administrative access requires multi-factor authentication and is restricted by network address.
  • Every change made through the administration panel is logged.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. It sets two functional cookies only: a short-lived token when you request the demonstration report, so the download works, and a session cookie for administrators. Neither is used to track you.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email privacy@kalkishield.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in India, your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act are set out in more detail in our DPDP notice.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that affects how we handle data we already hold, we will contact affected people directly rather than relying on you to re-read this page.
